Your Patient Journey

Getting in touch

The best first step is to contact our rooms and speak with one of our experienced nursing team. They can provide information about our practice and guide you through arranging a consultation with Dr Katie-Beth Webster

Preparing for your consultation

To help you make the most of your consultation, we recommend preparing any questions in advance and completing your patient registration form prior to your appointment. Please also bring any referral letters, test results, or relevant medical reports, as these may assist in your assessment and consultation.

Initial Consultation

At your initial consultation with Dr Webster, you will discuss your concerns, goals, and preferences, followed by a thorough assessment and tailored surgical plan. Clinical photographs will be taken for your patient record. She will explain the recommended treatment options, including surgical and non-surgical alternatives where appropriate, as well as the expected outcomes, recovery process, risks, and potential need for future procedures. You will also receive a detailed estimate of costs covering all associated fees, and have the opportunity to view relevant before-and-after images from consenting patients.

Second Consultation

If your procedure is deemed to be cosmetic, current regulations require you have two consultations. Consent can only be given for your procedure after the second consultation, followed by a mandatory 7-day cooling-off period before any booking or professional fees can be accepted.

Preparing for surgery

Once you have decided to book your procedure, our practice nurses will assist you with the finer details of booking your procedure date and payment requirements.

Throughout your journey with us, we are all here to support you and answer any questions you might have to ensure you feel comfortable and informed before your surgery and our nurses are a great resource.

Your Surgery

Dr Webster performs surgery at Epworth Eastern, Epworth Freemasons, Masada Private Hospital, and Cremorne Day Surgery. You will be cared for by experienced theatre and hospital staff throughout your procedure and recovery. Depending on the nature of your surgery, you may return home the same day or stay overnight for observation. Clear post-operative instructions and follow-up arrangements will be provided to support your recovery.

Aftercare

We understand that a smooth recovery and return to normal activities is an important part of your surgical journey. Following your procedure, you will attend regular review appointments at the rooms to monitor healing and support your recovery. Where appropriate, non-surgical technologies may also be used to assist in the healing process. All post-operative care for the first six weeks after surgery is included in your surgical fee.
